OMG! I've bought oxiclean. Does that count? I have to admit though, the ShamWow dude does have an oddly peculiar charm about him.

I thought I’d give everyone a peek in my journal. I combine visual and written journaling. I’ll show all kinds of examples, even those that are very artistically embarrassing, if you know what I mean.
I hope to show you that you don’t have to be a writer or an artist to keep a journal and get benefit from it. The only valuable journals aren’t those of Divinci or Plath.
Here’s a spread.

More to come!!!

My kiddos bought a new game for their Wii, Wii fit. I didn’t think they’d like it, since it was an exercise thing. But, they love it! They love to play the soccer and skiing games. The game tells you your BMI, how your balance is, and how many calories you should be burning while you play. They love figuring out which games are good fat burners and trying to drive up the burn rates. There’s a step-arobics game that works a lot like DDR that my daughter likes to play. Try it out. My kids give it four thumbs up.

I love Post-It notes. I keep them at my desk and stick them everywhere with project ideas, phone messages, to do notes ,etc. I stick them on the steering wheel of my car when there’s something I keep forgetting to do when I’m out and about. They get messed up in my purse, though. So I found this creative solution.

I’m sorry for my silence. I promise to load you all up with lots of writing prompts, articles and great inspirational sites now that things have settled just a bit. I’ve been busy helping my mom, who lost everything in the flood. We’ve found her a new home, and she’s excited to have a home again and very grateful for FEMA.
It’s a blank slate. Mom’s having so much fun trying to create her living space and is working to make it the authentic her. We’ve been shopping for furniture, kitchen stuff, bathroom decore carpeting and flooring, and she’s decide on some Hinkley lighting.
I can’t think of a better gift after losing everything in such a devastating flood than the chance to create a sacred, authentic space to to home to.
